Junghans joins HSU at The Clubhouse for an Oktoberfest themed event

Junghans at The Clubhouse

Salt Lake City’s horology enthusiasts had a reason to raise their steins this October as the Horological Society of Utah hosted a festive and elegant members only evening with Junghans, the storied German watchmaker, in celebration of Oktoberfest. Held on October 22, 2025, event blended precision timekeeping with Bavarian charm in a setting that was as timeless as the watches on display.

A Night of German Craftsmanship and Community

Nestled in downtown Salt Lake City, The Clubhouse provided the perfect backdrop for the event. With its Prairie School architecture, stained glass windows, and warm ambiance, the venue echoed the elegance and history of the timepieces on display. In true Oktoberfest spirit, guests enjoyed German-inspired cuisine and beverages, including bratwurst, pretzels, and craft beers. The event was not just about watches—it was about bringing people together.

Junghans, founded in 1861 and renowned for its minimalist design and mechanical excellence, was the guest of honor at this exclusive gathering. Members of HSU and their guests were treated to an immersive experience that celebrated both horological heritage and Oktoberfest traditions.

From curated watch displays to engaging conversations with fellow collectors, and a presentation from Junghans North America CEO Olliver Zaugg on the historical significance of the German watchmaker, the evening was a showcase of craftsmanship, culture, and camaraderie.

Supporting members of the Horological Society of Utah received complimentary access to the event, reinforcing the value of community and engagement within the society. For those new to HSU, the evening served as a compelling introduction to the vibrant watch culture thriving in Utah.

Whether you're a seasoned collector or a curious newcomer, events like these remind us that horology is more than just keeping time—it's about sharing moments. Thanks to Junghans for a night to remember!
