2024 Watch Accuracy Timing Challenge

This bracket style contest will determine the winner of the Horological Society of Utah's most accurate watch of 2024. 

The full rates of each entry will be taken in 6 different positions and an average will be generated. The first criteria of importance will be the maximum variation of rate change between all 6 positions at full wind, also known as the "delta". If two watches tie in the delta category, the average rate between all 6 positions will be used as the tie breaker. 

You may enter as many watches as you would like, entries are $10, and the grand prize for the winner will be half of the total money brought in from the entries, in addition to other awesome prizes.  

Please choose carefully, quartz or quartz assisted watches will not be eligible, fully mechanical only. And remember, the highest price doesn't always reflect the best rates. 

Snacks and some drinks will be provided.
