Born and raised on the small island of Rarotonga, I was intrigued at how traditional art reflected the life of the island. I trained myself in sketch artistry and let my sketches take on the form and symmetry of the traidional art I had grown to love. What started as a self-taught hobby pulling from what I had known has become a full-time passion, a new creation, blending my Rarotongan heritage with the tradional designs of the Maori or Moko
